Fortunately, my Aunt Anna and Uncle David had taken pictures of me at my graduation, and were able to email it to me!! So now, let me share them with all of you.
Trying to look for my family!
It was relatively windy, so I was trying to comb out my tassel while simultaneously keeping it out of my face!
Valedictorian, Lorenzo Gonzalez, with his speech about the comparison of humans and chickens, and death. It was a hilariously witty speech, and very unique and memorable. This guy is going to be attending Stanford University this Fall, to become a bio-medical researcher, last I heard. I hope he becomes an engineer, so that I can always refer to him as the Ging-ineer (ginger/engineer)!
Another valedictorian, Sarah Marble, giving her speech about relationships in high school. It was very sweet, and I found it most applicable to my life, as I had recently broken up with my now ex-boyfriend.
Sarah Marble is dating Lorenzo, haha, and she really has this thing about legitimate scientists in lab coats. She's pretty excited for Lorenzo's career choice!
Valedictorian, Haley Estes, giving her speech on how busy and difficult high school has been for many of us, and how she had the support of her dance teacher (also my dance teacher!), her family, and her friends!
Class-elected speaker
, Julie Bürner, gave her speech referencing many classmates about a dream she had involving Batman and running around!
There was another speaker, a staff-elected student speaker, named Evan Hill, and his speech was a reflection on high school events and memories. I wish I had a photo of that!
A rainy thunderstorm was predicted for our graduation day, but the skies were blue and clear just above us, and the clouds were surrounding Sequim!

Allison Littledog receiving the U-Turn Award from Sequim High School's principal, Mr. Langston! I truly believe Allison deserves this award. Mr. Langston's award speech was vague on her struggles, and even I don't truly know what all she has been through, but I do know that our freshman year, she had a baby boy and before his first birthday, he had died of heart complications. I cannot imagine how difficult it has been for her, being a friendly acquaintance of hers since 2001 when I first moved here. I almost teared up just thinking and trying to imagine how tough it has been for her. Allison, however, has a made a complete U-Turn and worked hard in earning enough credits to walk and graduate with our class, and I'm so proud of her♥
Our superintendent, Mr. Bentley, giving his speech (he's also retiring this year) about what a unique class we are!
Our graduation ceremony backdrop! It's a field of white dandelions blowing in the wind!
Standing to have our names announced before we shake hands with staff and receive our empty diploma folders.
"Thank you so much!" What a lucky shot! My Aunt Anna got a picture of me thanking my Den advisor, Mr. Brown, for these past four years. Den teachers are assigned to a group of students within a class, and they stay with them throughout high school and help make sure the students stay on track to graduate.
My daddy and I!!
My mother and I!
